Welcome to Day 16 of Breathe Through Your Breakup!
This meditation contains a message for all those times you were too afraid to speak your truth in your last relationship in fear of rocking the boat, saying the wrong thing, or worried it would start a fight.
For all those times you kept your words in and suppressed your feelings and what you needed to say.
What needed to be heard.
This practice is for you and each of those moments.
Today we will starting with 4-7-8 breathing which is learned from Dr Weil, which was one of the first breathing techniques I ever learned to support me through my anxious moments.
Breathing in through the nose for a count of 4.
Holding for 7 counts.
Breathing out of the mouth for a count of 8. (Just keep in mind this exercise focuses on exhaling through the mouth).
